Safe Kids

Today we had Mrs Spenser come from St John Ambulance. She talked to us
about how to keep safe.

Explanation Writing

Today we wrote our first explanation as a class. WE hope you like it.

RULERS- YOUR HANDY HELPER

Why do we use rulers? A ruler is a long, straight measuring tool.
A ruler is made from plastic, wood or metal. It has lines and numbers on it.
You can buy a ruler from a stationary shop. And you store them on a desk or in a draw.
Rulers are used to measure distance. They can also be used to measure a straight line.
Lots of people use rulers. Builders use rulers to measure wood. School kids use rulers to rule off a line in their books.
Rulers are such a handy helper because they have so many uses.
